Jennifer Lopez is currently in discussions with her 16-year-old fraternal twins, Emme Maribel Muñiz and Maximilian David Muñiz, about joining her on tour for the entire month of July to celebrate her 55th birthday.
“I’ll be away for about two months from June to August, so I thought, ‘You guys have to come out for the whole month of July. You can go to camp and hang out with your friends in June, and then at the end of August before school starts, you can go back and see your friends again. But you have to come with Mommy for a little while!'” the singer shared during Monday’s Good Morning America.
“This might be the last opportunity for me to do something like this with them. They’re 16 now. Next time, they’ll probably say, ‘No, Mom.’ I’m going to use the little bit of influence I have left to convince them to come with me,” she added.
Emme, who has been using they/them pronouns since 2022, gained fame for singing back-up vocals on Jennifer’s song Limitless in 2019. They performed the song together during Jennifer’s It’s My Party tour and the Super Bowl LIV halftime show in 2020.
The twins, affectionately referred to as ‘coconuts’ by Jennifer, were born during her marriage to Marc Anthony, which ended in 2011. So, they are not unfamiliar with life on the road and touring.
