“I was in a serious relationship with someone – we even had embryos together, so he was like my husband in every way,” she revealed.

To cope with the fallout of the relationship, the A Simple Favor actress ‘disassembled’ her life, informed her agent she needed a break, and sought support from AI-Anon, a group that assists loved ones of those struggling with alcoholism.
Past relationships: In the past, Kendrick was romantically involved with Edgar Wright from 2009 to 2010, Jake Gyllenhaal in 2011, Ben Richardson from 2014 to 2020, and Bill Hader from 2020 to 2022. In 2022, a photo surfaced showing Kendrick with a new significant other.
Reflecting on her past experiences, she shared, “I reached a point where I knew I needed help. I started attending Al-Anon meetings during a tumultuous period in my life. It was a reaction to being labeled as crazy and the source of problems in my relationships.”
Acknowledging her mental health struggles, she decided to take a step back and prioritize self-care. “I spoke to my agency and decided to take a break. I began seeing two therapists weekly, explored meditation, and found solace in Al-Anon.” She initially sought help to numb her emotions and control her feelings.
However, it was a therapist who guided her in setting boundaries that ultimately led to the end of a toxic relationship. “Learning to establish boundaries was daunting but crucial in ending that chapter of my life.”
Kendrick’s dating history includes past relationships with several notable names, running the gamut from filmmakers to actors.
